After a long break due to waterlogged arifieled, flying has begun again at Gransden. At the moment it is aerotow only.

The deadline for applications for 2013 Royal Aero Club Trust bursaries has been extended. Applications now need to be received the BGA office by 17th March 2013.
The fund was set up in 2012 following the untimely death of Alex in a cycling accident. Alex had been gliding with the Cambridge Gliding Centre initially as part of the Cadet scheme and subsequently to a high level of cross country and competition flying.
After a cancelled days gliding, due to waterlogged field, I took the opportunity of doing something I have been meaning to do for years. I digitised my logbook. There are a couple of advantages to keeping a digital version; firstly, in the event of loss or damage of your paper logbook you have a backup record.
